It’s a girl’s world!

Hey there, long time no chat!

It’s been mad busy around our HQs with new releases, gig season upon us once again, lots of sessions for our writers, office move (just across the hallway, but still – how much stuff did we accumulate since our move to Tileyard last year?!)…

This one will be short and sweet again but just wanted to let you know about some of the killer tunes that have recently come out from our camp!

Jess Thristan not only released her debut album, This Is Home, but she’s also a featured artist on the new Jewelz & Sparks banger, “Echoes of Us”, which she actually co-wrote with Sara Eker, Kaikai and Eddie Jenkins! The tune is out now on Sony Music.

Speaking of Sara Eker…that busy lady has been involved in SO many projects we can’t keep track! Look out for more of her tracks coming out very very soon.

And finally, we had a surprise release from our favourite Scandi, Eivør! Alright, alright, it wasn’t so much of a surprise for us and we couldn’t wait to share it with all of you, especially her cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Bird on the Wire” which has been on repeat around here since she first sent it to us – have you heard it yet? If not, what are you waiting for??!! (Word of advice: get some tissues ready…)

And just to follow on with the coolest women in music theme here…if you live on Earth, you’re likely aware that the world has finally woken up to the fact that women have not been having as good a time as they could be having and, sadly, it’s not only in Hollywood. So AIM lady Lara Baker wrote a bit about the issue in our industry and you can read it too right here.

Lots of love from us and until next time!

As Ryan Adams would say, “stay weird”. 💜
