Weekly Round Up -Autumn’s Finest!

So, November is upon us , it’s the start of Christmas adverts galore (John Lewis and their #BusterTheBoxer add yes), Starbucks and their famous red cups (you gotta love an Egg Nog & Pumpkin Spiced Latte though right? Only acceptable this time of year haha), and everyone running out to get themselves that new winter coat, matching scarf, gloves & hat set…and yes we know we’ve been pretty s#*t on our blog since the departure of our dear Liv. She had this s#*t on lock! (Big shoutout to Liv, you star you)., so wanted to update you on all things going on at A&G HQ!

Firstly, we were sorry to see our A&R Co-ordinator Owen leave to go on to pastures new a few weeks ago. We wish him all the best, but we’re still working with him on some A&R stuff, so it’s all good!

October saw us hit Amsterdam for ADE! What a solid 3 days of networking, drinking, dance music, more networking and drinking! Haha, we joke! We made some incredible connections out there, and have already start the process of building those relationships with releases to come…..more from that when they come 😉

Last Friday, saw the release of MÖWE’s highly anticipated debut album “Back In The Summer” (Ironic for this time of year right), which features a co-write and vocal feature from our LA-based guy Thomas Fiss. Track 9 “Signals” was sent to us early last year, as an instrumental looking for a top-line, from our wonderful partners in Amsterdam Downtown Music Benelux. This later became “Signals” as a co-write between Thomas Fiss and Jantine Schra (Downtown’s writer), featuring Thomas’ vocals. MÖWE loved Thomas’ vocals and the verse he’d written, but preferred Jantine’s Chorus, so we combined the two, and we now have this: https://play.spotify.com/track/1cOPF3KtQuYgJ4PVCmj3VR

**Eivør wins at Danish Music Awards and is on tour**

So Eivør took home a gong from the Danish Music Awards, for Best Vocal Jazz Album, on her collaboration album with The Danish Big Band and their album release “At The Heart Of A Selkie”. Massive congrats to you all!

Eivør is currently on her Autumn tour across Europe, so if she’s in your town, we definitely recommend you going to see her live (we’re not biased, honestly), you are guaranteed to have a great time!
